Still no Joy so I unstall and clean up Cyberlink software. So the first thing I would you suggsest is to update your drives firmware to the latest version. This can also solve problems with your drive if the media type you use is not supported. The GQ disks now burn at 2X without any problem.
When Idd first got this drive around last November, I thought I had made a big mistake. Since this is my first DVD burner I am dissapointed at the need to educate myself with crappy software
